Some polytunnel information from Alex in Sapphire class: Alex’s polytunnel project update

This quote was e-mailed over this morning by Tobin’s dad. Tobin found this one particularly motivational!

Quote from Tobin

We really love Charles Dickens in this classroom. Had a bit of a debate over whether the class prefer ‘David Copperfield’ or ‘A Tale of Two Cities’. I personally love both so on the fence.

In the end the latter won because:

‘Well it just has so much bloodshed, it swings between London and Paris and has a massive twist at the end!’ (Y6 pupil)

We spoke about the emotions surrounding the image below this morning. Interesting discussion about how a ‘losing’ team can emerge as winners in many ways. Thoughts were that togetherness, dedication and team-spirit are in many ways just as important as the overall result. An important lesson for us all in many ways.
